	Oz - The Complete First Season [VHS] HBO's violent men-behind-bars drama is an addictive, testosterone-driven soap opera for guys. The eight episodes of the first season set the style for the show: a massive cast of a vivid characters on both sides of the bars, four or five stories unleashed at a breakneck pace and framed by angry, oddball introductions, and a soaring casualty rate. Created by Homicide producer Tom Fontana, this drama quickly earned its rightful reputation as the most brutal show on TV. It's simple chemistry: combine volatile ingredients in a confined space, shut tight, and shake. The yellow brick road of the Oswald Correctional Facility (affectionately known as "Oz" among the inmates) leads to "Emerald City," an antiseptic cellblock of cement and glass overseen by prison-reform advocate Tim McManus (Terry Kinney). The first episode introduces its two most compelling inmates: meek lawyer Beecher (Lee Terguson), who transforms from a vulnerable lamb to a fearless, drug-addicted wildcat, and Muslim activist Kareem Said (Eamonn Walker), a fiercely non-violent leader whose campaign for reform explodes in a season-climaxing riot. The stunning first-season cast also features Ernie Hudson (the warden), Rita Moreno (a worldly drug-counseling nun), and Edie Falco (who jumped from her role as a single-mother prison guard to mob wife in The Sopranos ). It carries no rating, but the drug use, nudity, and brutal violence make this highly inappropriate for young viewers and unsuited to the squeamish. 	Pilates On The Go (No mat or accessories included) [VHS] There's no fancy set, no drumbeats, and no modeling of the latest workout fashions in Pilates on the Go . It's just instructor Maria Leone, a mat, a band, and tubing--and 52 minutes of Pilates instruction. After a few minutes of explanation of the principles and goals of this German exercise system, Leone warms up and gets down to business with 100s, rollups, rowing, scissors, criss-cross--the works. She doesn't blend with yoga, dance, or Tai Chi; instead she takes viewers through most of the mat-based Pilates catalog (corkscrew, swan, seal, you name it), focusing on stretching the spine, breathing correctly, and using "core strength." (Translated: Get those abs in shape!) The camera work is inconsistent and thus noticeable when it shouldn't be, but otherwise this is about as straightforward and useful a Pilates instruction as you're likely to find. 	Beverly Hills, 90210 - The Fourth Season Welcome to the first post-high school season of Beverly Hills 90210 . While maintaining essentially the same formula in season four that's driven the previous seasons, things definitely grow up and heat up now that the gang has started college. They're all attending school together (of course), the fictional California University. Andrea decides against Yale and Brenda makes her way back to Beverly Hills quickly after a disastrous attempt at returning "home" to Minnesota. While Brenda's return and Andrea's decision to stay in Beverly Hills seems not only inevitable, but essential, it's interesting to note that season four is the final year featuring all original cast members. It's also the year the tone of the show most abruptly changes, making way for the much more grown up and sexier seasons to come. For these twentysomethings playing teenagers, the shift from high school to college allows them to relax a bit into their characters and really show off their acting chops (all except Shannon Doherty, whose seething anger is simmering just barely below the surface of her performances; her tension with the cast and producers at this time was widely documented). As in the years before, issues rule the storylines here and while we've got some repeat offenders (infidelity, date rape, racism, drug use), there's also plenty of fresh material that these actors clearly have fun with (anti-Semitism, pregnancy, campus scandals, and newly discovered siblings). Minor complaints: the lack of original music continues to be an annoyance; it seems this year that the generic studio tracks have gotten even worse. Also missing are the funny guys from VH-1's Best Week Ever doing the "Everything You Need to Know About Beverly Hills 90210: Season Four ". The segment still exists, but with much less entertaining hosts. Otherwise, Season Four continues to deliver the goods any 90210 fan could want--drama, drama, drama--and it's only just getting started. --- Kira Canny Price : $16.08

Kirby is of course pursued by the minions of the evil wizard that sent him to the gameworld, but in this world Kirby does not swallow enemies to dispatch them. Instead he uses a whip of yarn to stun them. Curled into the shape of a yarn ball, he can then toss them at additional enemies and/or obstacles. Kirby's movements are different as well. He no longer floats the way he did in previous games. Instead he glides in parachute form, or takes the shape of vehicles such as a train, a top, a truck, a UFO, a tank and others that are appropriate for the challenge at hand. Throughout the gameplay area are hidden beads, that if maintained, maximize points. There are also hidden levels that are revealed as Kirby pulls on zippers and loose threads encountered. Standard level progression is achieved via a series of patches that players receive on completion of levels. These are added to a tapestry by Kirby which results in the next level being revealed. The game also features two-player co-op through the entire game in which the second player takes on the role of an additional character from the game and works together with Kirby to access new areas.
